Getting started

You have all done some fantastic work on your preliminary tasks - frustrations aside!

Now it's time to set up your blogs.

It is preferable that every candidate has their own blog, but this is not always the easiest way to work if you are part of a team for your Foundation Portfolio. Every team must have a blog and you all need to be regularly contributing - remember the blog will be the evidence presented to the moderator at the end of the course and your individual marks will, in part, depend on what evidence you as an individual have contributed to the group blog.

If you are new to Blogger then please follow the print out in your course folder - it details all you need to know to get going.

As soon as you have set up your blog let me have the URL so I can add you to this hub - it makes life easier for all involved - I'll explain in class.

Good luck - make your blog as interactive, creative and detailed as possible to achieve those Level 4 scores. Look at some of the A2 work from our school for a starting point on inspiration; there are also loads of great AS Media blogs in the blogosphere for you to aspire to - just get online and check them out.

Good luck and don't hesitate to ask for advice and/or help.
